Typical problems with CAN connections:

- CAN H and CAN L wires connected wrong way, or poor connection.
- Use of adapter terminator resistor, measure CAN wires resistance to confirm that its in spec.
- Wrong configuration of adapter baud rate (USB).

Some extra tips:

- Always confirm CAN connection on CAN Monitor in connection settings. The CAN Monitor does not use any connection XML and that helps to confirm working connection.
- When data is shown in CAN Monitor, use Debug Data View (Settings-\>Application-\>Debug-\>Debug Data View) to analyse what values are updated by the CAN connection.
- Check your custom CAN connection XML file for syntax errors with a good source code editor.
