Newbie with poor search facilities

Hi there new here I have a few questions, ultimately I’d like to make my own dash unit but I’m still figuring out the kinks.

I have just fitted a new engine to my transporter it has obd2 where as the vehicle is pre obd2 it’s all wired and running.

I only have a speedo and no sensor lights like EML etc firstly does real dash work with CarPlay? So I can view dashboard on CarPlay dash whilst driving?

Does real dash display EML/ coolant warning oil wanting etc? Does it require pre programmed values to suit my enjgjne ?

Is there a preferred obd2 Bluetooth plug you’d recommend?

Unfortunately RealDash is not Apple CarPlay compatible. Apple rejected our application for it.

Our dashboards have some pre-defined values for warning and critical levels. You can adjust those or make your own, like full screen alerts.
