A trigger to change all gauges based on the lights turning on

Just finishing up all the CAN identifiers for my car and got the lights highbeams and fog lights tied in. I want the gauges to glow or text to change when I flip the lights on. Or perhaps darken or brighten the screen. I know how to do this the long way… but wondering if theres an option to select all and just click to make everything change or glow when the lights turn on…

Global triggers?

Simplest method is the ‘Indicator Light’ gauge type that automatically brightens when input is on. Try that first.

I think you misunderstood. I was fiddling with it today with Global trigger. My headunit autodarkens when the headlights are on… I wanted to try to make a trigger that with Realdash sees the CAN info of the headlights on, it turns off Nightmode and sets the Screen Brightness to 100. That hasnt seemed to work, but I think its my headunit that is the problem.

But I ALSO want to make an effect that makes every since gauge, both Analog and Digital change based on that same trigger. Do i have to go through and select and change each gauge to change based on that trigger? I fear I do

Better solution might be that you make another page of your gauges in night mode and then simply use Switch page action to jump between day/night pages.

that is a good idea.

I used triggers based on time to adjust my brightness. It doesn’t work on my raspberry pi setup but worked great on my tablet. Only thing was that I had to adjust it for daylight savings time.
