0x05f;00;00.01;00;00;00;00;00=off
0x05f;00;00.02;00;00;00;00;00=on
i need to run it from button RealDash .
Use the ‘Send CAN Frame’ action with a button.
Could you please provide an explanation with an example? Thank you, Janem.

What frame should I send?
- First try to send the frame in CAN Monitor to verify that your vehicle accepts those commands.
- Next, create a button and a new Action for it
- Use Action Type: Send CAN Frame and specify the frame ID and bytes in Action Edit screen.
Another (maybe better) option would be to specify the value name for frame 0x05F 3rd byte in CAN XML file. Then is relatively easy to toggle that value between 1 and 2 with a button.
What frame should be sent, and how does it comply with the static data of the vehicle? plezzz I want to understand the topic completely. ![]()
Thank you, Janem, for your patience. ![]()
I do not know your vehicle CAN bus to say ‘what’ you should send to it. Only thing I can help you with is ‘how’.
Thank you, Janem.
I have an OBDLink CX. I USE CAN OBDLINK
