Hi. Do one go with the PC version or Android version of realdash? If I use the obdlink mx+, will it support most of the car can protocols?
Which platform you use is a personal choice, in my case i think running on PC in the car is not ideal, due to frequent updates, longer boot times etc.
I use Windows to edit the dashboards and run Android in the car.
Other question will depend on your vehicle i think, generally you are better tapping into your canbus than using obd as the update rate is usually higher.
