Boostsmart V2 and holley interface

I’m not sure if it functions like it does in the video I found (second link) but has anyone used one of these to interface between the holley and the realdash?

The item listed for sale on the website doesn’t mention a thing about realdash, and the video shows what looks like a ESP32 module on the back of the prototype unit in the video. There’s no mention of that in the item listed for sale either. I sent them an email, but I wondered if anyone had used one of these before?

I’m not too worried about the bluetooth aspect of things, the android head unit I’m going to use has a USB port. So I’d rather just wire it in directly to lessen the issues with connecting/reconnecting to bluetooth after power cycles.

What I’m really after is a means to integrate between the holley terminator x max to feed data to realdash. But also have a means to pull in some inputs and pass them over canbus to realdash. To gain a input for left, right, and high beam indicators. Also if I could pull in the fuel level as well. And I like how the module can pass over the ethanol info too.

I emailed Pete about realdash integration with his BoostSmartV2 a couple months ago. He said “The BoostSmart v2 does not support real dash”. It looks like the best option right now is to use a custom realdash CAN XML using the newly released holley can protocol (i saw you posted in the forum topic here about it). Or wait until the realdash devs get one added. I am planning to use a PC or android tablet as an auxiliary gauge/display for my LS Terminator-X Max build

Yeah, I got an email back from him this morning saying the same thing unfortunately. Seems people were buying it thinking it instantly would make a “holley dash” like device without understanding what all else is involved. It’s unfortunate, as what was in the video is exactly what I’m looking for to gain some more I/O in the holley, handle the ethanol side of things too.

On a different note, anyone know what dashboard that is?
