Button A/c in realdash

Hello
Is it possible to create button A/C or Warning signs that connects to the bits of the obdlink frame reading?

It may be a language issue, but I have trouble understanding your messages.

It is possible to send a CAN frame from RealDash to your vehicle. You need to know what CAN message will activate your AC, describe that in your XML file and then use a button to change a value on that CAN frame. RealDash will then automatically send that frame to your vehicle.

Be careful though, if you send invalid information to your vehicle it may cause issues. I do not recommend attempting to send CAN messages to your vehicle unless you are 100% sure what you are doing.

Unfortunately I must decline. Trying to figure out what to send to vehicle can be dangerous and almost impossible to do remotely.

I tried doing this and nothing happened. I sent the frame exactly the way the example shows, and nothing happened.

I sent the frame the way the dialog shows the example with a CAN frame that does not exist, and it appeared to show up in the monitor window. But when I sent the CAN frame to activate the dimmer as it would if I hit the button in the car, nothing happened.

Is there an example of the method you used to associate the button with the code in the xml file?

You don’t associate the button with any code from xml. You define the target id used in Realdash to point to the CAN id in the xml. Then you simply make the button do the action, I would assume. I haven’t tried that, only the Send Frame button in the CAN data monitor.

Unfortunately we do not have resources to help on this sort of custom projects. I hope you understand that it is a big ask. It can take days to solve your vehicle CAN messaging.

I have a complete analysis of the climate unit messages can, I just need a way to link it with the raildash and write a file xml
