Can Analyzer v8 connection time out

I’m currently using a CAN Analyzer V8 from Seeed Studio, connected to a Monsoon X Link ECU. When I connect the analyzer to my Android head unit, I get a pop-up to automatically open RealDash when the serial USB is connected. However, after adding the connection in the RealDash app, it keeps displaying “Connecting to serial USB” in the bottom right corner.

I tried a friend’s V7.10 CAN Analyzer, and it worked perfectly. I also tested two different V8 CAN Analyzers, but neither of them worked.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

Well, sounds like they have changed something on “V8” adapter. Could you link the exact adapter on Seeedstudio store? I will buy one and test.

Got a bagful of these v8 adapters, they seem to work very well, no issues.

One thing to check is if you are using terminator resistor on other adapter and not an another?

Thank you for your response. Yes, both analyzers have the resistor. I’m not entirely sure what the issue might be, as the v7.10 worked perfectly fine after a quick swap. However, one thing to note is that the red and green lights on the v8 flashed randomly and inconsistently, whereas on the v7.10, the green light remained on.
