CANTCU Integration with RealDash

Hi, I been scrolling thru all the forum and I haven’t found any information on RealDash integration with CANTCU. I seen very useful integration with multiples ECU including Turbolamik therefore nothing about CANTCU.

I join the link where we can find the BDC from Can Performance web site:

Default CAN Datastream | CANformance Engineering Wiki

Am not an expert but I believe we need to create an XML file then it has to be integrated somewhere in the RealDash application but am not 100% sure.

To give you a little bit of context, am building a race car which is a Cadillac CTS-V V1 with an LS3 engine driven with a AEM Infinity 508, the engine is coupled to a ZF 8HP70 driven by a CANTCU. Regarding the dash, am building the dash from a Raspberry Pi5 with the Raspberry PI 7 inch screen, something super basic and simple to use.

This would be great if I can gather the data from the AEM and also the CANTCU for the transmission data. Let me know if this is doable.

Regards

Sonny

Sure, with CAN connection it is possible.

Attached is a quick translation from CANTCU DBC into RealDash XML to start experimenting with. DBC seems to use base ID of 0x5F0, so that was duplicated into the XML.

CANTCU_DefaultOut_v1_1.xml (3.2 KB)

Wow! That was a quick turnout! I will try to install this XML this weekend! Thanks much for your support!
