Currently playing information not always displayed

Hi.

I’m using various music players, but i notice with a program called “Folder Player” with RD set to “Other” player, the information is not always displayed.

I was not sure if it was RD issue, but other program like Agama launcher consistently read the now playing information.

If i restart music player and RD and change the music player in RD to something else, then back to Other, it starts to display the information again.

Maybe something to check.

About a year later and this is still a problem: I’m on Android on a Galaxy s24 ultra and this is happening with Spotify. Selecting a different player within real dash and then selecting Spotify again sometimes makes it work. Also clearing real dashes cache for the app also makes it work. But after closing the app and reloading it it fails to work again.
