You mean uploading settings file from the Garage?
unfortunately, I continue to manually enter calibrations.
since after the import, it works for some time, the next time it starts, it stops working.
Steps
I use only specific variables
import XML
Import Config XML from Garage
Import XML
Exit from App
Start - work
next start - not work
perhaps the problem is in specific variables. unfortunately, for example, for the fuel level, I cannot use the standard ID directly. I use a specific one and then reassign the input in the settings. when I export the configuration file from the garage. I see strange IDs in it instead of specific variables. I’ll test with Dummy ID
at any next startup, the data Custom Mapping is deleted.
It also seems to me that there is an error when clicking this delete data button. I think the problem is with this button… and there are no use settings in the Inputs settings in the skin.
if swich of this button data Custom Mapping is Deleted
At the moment, transferring data from one device to another is not working, I’ll forgive you to add it to the todo list.
I don’t fully understand your explanation due the translation I guess, but I will test the Settings Export/Import that custom mapping is included.
I did a quick test, and its working for me. Testing was done as:
- Fresh install
- Edit Dummy 1 variable to have Custom Mapping with 7 points.
- Export settings from the Garage.
- Fresh install
- Import settings from the Garage.
- Dummy 1 has correct custom mapping.
Do we need a different testing sequence to find the issue?
I turn off the device and the next time I start, I lose data Custom Mapping
I use specific variables, if you need to use standard variables, I also agree to this, although it is not very convenient.
Problem is only with custom inputs?
please pause - i will check again
with custom inputs - 100 % problem - next start device - date lost
Dummy 1 - 40 i will check for Custom Mapping
I think I found what you mean. RealDash-v247-prerel3.apk in testing Dropbox.
