I would like to set up a trigger to start logging when I start running, any recommendations?
I used to condition it on vehicle speed and number of connected devices, but in recent versions the number of connected devices stays at 0 forever.
If the condition is simply vehicle speed, it will start logging even in Playback mode. Do you guys want to get logging in Playback mode?
Not quite typical use-case, but sometimes handy.
I will check why number of connected devices is 0 and fix that.
Something I’d find really helpful is logging normal xml, and concurrently logging the can bus raw data. The XML data and gps info would aid in reverse engineering the can data. This is something similar to what comma.ai’s “cabana” does.
