I have an EMU Black using bluetooth canbus and everything else on the dash seems fine, but the boost and MAP channels I cannot figure out what they’re referencing and are totally different than what the datalog is showing. And there doesn’t seem to be any other MAP based channels to pull data from. Is there a known correction that should be applied (assuming the channels actually are related to MAP in some way) or does something need to be changed on the ECU side?
The map channel worked fine for me . One thing I noticed was that, the boost channel was just the map -100kpa.
Check your units, could be a mismatch
Still haven’t gotten this to work, at idle it shows MAP at 4.0
But the laptop shows MAP at 4.9psi, so the dash MAP doesn’t match regardless of the units.
Rev up a little and dash will show 11 but laptop shows 6.4psi. They maybe seem related in some way, but I have absolutely no idea how. If I’m coasting the dash will show zero, and the lowest the laptop usually shows is like 2.9psi. This is using Engine/ECU Inputs → Manifold Absolute Pressure, though any of the other inputs related to MAP show equally confusing values.
RealDash handles the Manifold Absolute pressure internally as Kpa. If you change all settings to metric, does that make MAP value make more sense?
Many values are calculated from MAP, so its normal that they are wrong if MAP is incorrect.
So, if you could help a little and set up your EMU and RealDash to Kpa for MAP, we could verify if the issue is actually with conversion. We do not have Ecumaster EMU to test on, so we need your help to troubleshoot the issue.
