ESP32-S3, Megasquirt 1 and Real Dash?

Hey guys I am new here. First sorry for my bad English and now to my problem/question. I am trying to do an diy project with an esp32-s3. My goal is to display an Megasquirt 1 to real dash trough the esp. so that I can see infos like rpm from the Megasquirt in the app. My plan is to connect an rs3232 converter to the serial output from the Megasquirt and then connect the rs3232 to the esp.

Does anybody have any experience with such a explicit idea? Because I can’t get the Megasquirt to send the data trough the esp into the app.

RealDash supports Megasquirt 1 directly with serial/USB connection, have you tried that?

Yes but I want to connect it to my phone so this will sadly not work.

Sure it will with proper USB adapter, or Serial to Bluetooth adapter.
