Curious if anyone has any feedback/experiences with some of these portable android “screens” that are out there. Some of the newer/more powerful onces include Google Play store and appear to let you install any app, etc.
Similar to the more powerful Android headunits, these seem to solve a lot of the powerup/shutdown issues and are very reasonably priced.
It seems many of the newer models only include 1x USB-C port for power… I’m worried this may be an issue splitting and using it for power and USB CAN adapter. Some older models still had a separate dedicated USB A port.
Any way to have it autoboot into realdash on launch or otherwise make it a bit more simplistic? Requires root access perhaps.
