Just wanted to share what I came up with the evening after finally getting time to figure this out. Plan is to purchase one of the 14" LCD monitors that gamers use to watch their PC health and install that behind the bezel of a 71’ Ford F100 body on an 06’ Crown Vic frame/running gear. The Vic gets me OBD2 so I just laid the bezel on the laptop screen and made it all fit. I know once the smaller screen comes in I will need to change the resolution etc but thats not a big deal.
I plan to power this with an Android phone via the OBD2 usb. May get a little interesting on charging the phone while running the screen but thats future me’s problem.
