Fuel Level - Not Resetting at OBD2 Disconnection

Body Fuel Level doesn’t reset. 2010 Acura TSX sent a data log yesterday hoping it captured it.

OBD2 Fuel Level is mapped to Body Fuel Level.

Scenario - Stopping to get gas

Upon OBD2 disconnect, Body Fuel Level doesn’t reset and turn to 0. Upon OBD2 connect, Body Fuel Level doesn’t update to newest value. Closing and restarting the app fixes the issue and gets the newest read.

Noticed that OBD2 Fuel Level does update.

Singled out the problem to be Body Fuel Level.

Has occured on two Android devices.

Alright, I will investigate this issue.

Fix for this can be tested with RealDash-v247-prerel2.apk from Dropbox.

Is it working correctly now with the pre-release version?

For some reason I’m having trouble installing it. Trying the newest pre release rn, it’s downloading.

A huge improvement but it kind of lags to go up. It slowly rises and if you start driving off it’ll stop.

And where can I find a link to download for testing?

Contact them there and ask for the Dropbox link. I don’t know if I’m allowed to post their Dropbox link here. The link doesn’t change btw so you can save it.

This is intentional. The Fuel Level input has special smoothing so it would not bounce on some setups.

Ok then, no worries. So far it’s working then.
