Garage updates for user friendliness

Something I’ve noticed in the Garage, there isn’t anything that really sets apart what things can be clicked. It’s been a little while since I’ve been in RD doing development, but I just found out you can click on the tires to put information in, and it was 100% by accident that it even happened.

Maybe if there was a way to highlight (like a white line around the different sections that can be clicked) or something to make the different areas to put settings in stand out just a little bit more.

I believe can click on the top bar for vehicle details, hood for engine specs, tires for tire specs, trunk for fuel specs, open front door to click on speedometer for connection settings and click on shifter from transmission specs

I believe that is all

I understand that. For a new user, it would require them to randomly click around to try and discover what can be clicked on.

To be honest, I think the whole concept of an animated garage is completely inappropriate. It would be better if all this was a additional menu in the settings. This is my personal opinion. I am not forcing it.

This discussion pops up sometimes. We have no plans to make new Garage. It works very well once you know where to tap (and those are shown on the tutorial after first boot).

We are a small team and development must be fun in order for us to keep going. Making the Garage was fun, and we try not to take things too seriously. Hopefully will live longer that way.

but many will thank you if you, without touching the garage itself, simply duplicate the calls to all its functions in the menu, where the import and export of garage settings are. this is a very simple code that will take you 15 minutes maximum. )))

Maybe its time for the Garage to go, maybe not. Not high on the to-do list, that’s for sure.
