Hardwire connection

Hey everyone. Has anyone tried to do a hardwire connection to their device? I want to connect my OBD2 to my android device with a hardwire connection because the Bluetooth doesn’t always connect reliably. Sometimes it connects immediately, sometimes it connects after a few minutes. Sometimes it doesn’t even connect by the time I get to my destination.

The device I want to use is a Samsung phone with USB C. I bought an ELM adapter with USB and an adapter for the phone. The device kept looking like it connected but wouldn’t get any readings from the car

USB OBD2 adapters should work just fine. The one that we have on testing rounds is from OBDLink.

I use the Vgate ICar Pro and it works absolutely fine in terms of BT connection.
