How to fast boot on rpi5

You can’t.
You have to run custom kernel and read-only file system. Using F2FS file system.
Use BuildRoot.
btw, I’m still slow: https://youtu.be/eQW0QNUPb2o?si=UevfHoXUJ0k22Ykz

So are you currentley running real dash with the modified kenrnel? Thanks

Hello,
I also want to speed up the standard startup time and I get only 11 seconds from pressing the button. But for me it’s still too slow. I compiled the kernel using buildroot, removed a few services, but the biggest slowdown is before the kernel loads.

Show your system blame.

11 seconds can be good enought if u can have a nice splash screen all over the process

But yeah we lost some second before the os start to load

I use headless raspbian without gui.

i see nothing on it
Make it bigger.

Can you post a video showing the boot?
