How to play the dash when not hooked up to the ecu

Is there a play function to just blink the lights, move the rpm gauge etc? I got it to play on one of the premiums but not sure what I pressed.

Under Actions there is Run Dashboard Sweep which can be assigned to a button. Also under Settings>Applications you can select Dashboard Sweep when the application starts
