How do I import and export images from within RealDash so I can edit them?

I think this is copy protection, for minimal protection of the authors’ creativity.

Thanks, great, maybe you can import png, and if there is a specific program to create these png images for import, what is the specific size to import like pixel, mm, inches

Any photo editing software can create pngs. You can use high end ones like photoshop or lesser versions. No specific size is needed. For a custom dash, I design based off the pixel dimensions of the device.

I create the panel in the Android emulator on the PC. How do I configure a screen that is exact for a 9-inch multimedia device? “From the emulator to save for multimedia, the proportion is exact.”

As Android version of RealDash does not allow resizing the screen (its always full screen), you would need to configure your emulator to have exactly the same screen resolution as your target device.

To my opinion, easiest way is to use Windows version of RealDash as it allows setting the screen resolution manually in ‘Settings->Application->Editing’

Thank you very much, I even tried to buy the full version for Windows but Microsoft is a bit archaic in terms of payments, as there is no option to buy in Pix like the Play Store where I made the purchase for Android

If I purchase RealDash for Windows PC, I can create panels without restrictions and also use them on any Android platform, such as creating a panel in RealDash Windows and then using it on Android or is there any restriction regarding this.

@Valter yes, I develop the dashboards on my Windows PC and copy them across to my Android device for use in the car

No restrictions other than check for premium dashboards. If you take one of our premium dashboards and edit it, it will still remain a premium dashboard and its usage check will be done. So only restriction is:

  • You buy a single purchase premium dash on Windows.
  • You modify it on Windows
  • You move the dash file to Android where you have not purchased the same premium dashbord.
  • You get an error when loading that dashboard is not purchased.

Naturally My RealDash subscription fixes all that, as it gives access to all premium content on all platforms.

How can I export files from my android tablet. I created a custom file and can only save it, cannot export it.

I can’t seem to create a new topic and keeps stating I do not have permission to see it

File->Save As… should open the file export popup on Android.

How do I make this subscription? Is it a one-time payment, annual or monthly? As I have the version of RealDash purchased through Play Story, I would like to know if I buy the Windows version sold by Microsoft, can I create a panel in the Windows version and take the panel to an Android version? Will it work or vice versa? thanks.

Yes, that will work. You can also get all platforms and all premium content with My RealDash subscription (my.realdash.net).
