Is it normal in RD to read any canbus message even though the Kbs is wrong?

If I have a 125Kbs canbus coming into RD and have the can bus setting in RD at 500Kbs should RD still be showing and scrolling the canbus messages or should I see nothing scrolling since it is set to 500?

You should not see any frames with you configure your adapter to 500kbps when connected to 125kbps CAN bus.
