Lighting suggestion

I would like to suggest that you can put two inputs on the gauges, for example, Rpm for pointers and parking light for segments and numbers, so you could put different colors or different brightness to simulate the parking lights on the dash.

If I understand this correctly, you can already place gauges over each other and simply make the top one have no background image and no (or transparent) markings. Alternatively, if you want the color of a gauge change depending on values, you can set up to three different colors using the ‘Warning’ and ‘Critical’ thresholds in the “Input Values” dialog.

Setting colors by trigger would be a very welcome addition, though.

Could you give an example of how this would work?

Example, parking light Off, white segments and numbers, parking light On, blue segments and numbers.

you can do this, but the dials would have the input actually be the parking lights. I made two dashes that do this. Then you have the actual gauges without segments underneath.

It would be neat to be able to enable “TEXT OUTLINE” or “Segment colors” with a separate input than the actual gauge. So when parking lights are 1 instead of 0, the critical range would make them visable. While the normal range would make the not lit. Basically the gauge would have an input for the needle, and an optional separate input for the Text color and segment color…

I’m assuming the different colors (i.e. those which you set under Look&Feel > Colors) have their value stored for each gauge. What I mean is adding an Action which changes a specific color value. You select a gauge, then select the color value you want to change (e.g. Image Blend color, Needle Blend color, Text color, Text Outline color and so on – whatever values are available for the selected gauge type).

You can have this action executed by a trigger.
