A severe hurdle for me until now has been deciding which SBC to use for my project as it seems they all have shortcomings of one sort or another when running Android or interfacing with a 1920x720 display, etc.
But now, RD on Linux? WOW. IMHO that’s a game-changer.
My SBC will be ordered today!! Probably RPi not least because it’s said to have by far the best support community.
Until today I have been running Android RD to design my custom dash on a Linux (OpenSUSE) laptop using an Android Studio - Android Virtual Device. Today I plan to make the laptop dual-boot with Debian on a 2nd SSD and move my project to that. I’ll report progress as and when. Comments and advice welcome…
