Hi everyone I’m wanting to use realdash on my sandcar that has a 98 Camaro écu LS1 what would be the easiest way to connect to an iPad? Bluetooth adaptors? Which one? Or another option?
For iOS I would recommend MeatPi Bluetooth CAN adapter.
Hi thank you I did get that adaptor and have Bluetooth enabled, I can get it all the way to to where it connects when you look at can monitor and then it just keeps flashing timeout then connecting any help? I followed the video meatpi has to connect it to realdash but it’s just not finalizing the connection in the last step

Ok, very hard to troubleshoot this remotely. Could you verify that adapter is receiving data with its web interface?
@Mystro I had problems with the MeatPi adapter using Bluetooth and the software author kindly compiled a version, which has been rock solid since, look for 2.10 beta on the github site

The old LS1 ecu uses the VPW J1850 protocol I believe not CAN. You will have to find a dongle that supports J1850.
