I understand mapbox has been removed for now due to issues - is it still under development?
Where did you hear that? MapBox is still used for navigation and other related information.

- Any way we can import mapbox styles?
- Is it possible to pass in a location from external connection? ie: GPS cords/speed are available on canbus - but if running realdash on a SBC, there is no built in GPS available to android
The map tiles still come from OSM, as we have too many users to use MapBox data. It would be way too costly for us.
Sure, you can send GPS coordinates thru RealDash CAN or thru multicasting.
