Motec m150 xml including TPMS

Hi Helpers. Im in the process of swapping my current SCS delta ECU for a Motec M150 and i have obtained the dbc file and paid my subscription to myrealdash so i can convert it to an xml. I havent tested it yet but i have attempted to add my TPMS settings (that were working with my previuos XML) but when i add them and try to save the modified xml i get the warning.
“XML parsing failed with error: Malformed: Tags don’t match”

  • The frame id’s do look a little different on the tpms part but im not clever enough to understand what i need to do to make it happy?

Can anyone help?

(i will try and attach both the old xml for SCS that worked and the generated xml from myrealdash for them motec)

  • Think myrealdash has allowed me to save this with the modified tpms code even though it had an error…

So i asked chatgpt and it found a frame without a “<” before it. myrealdash will now save it ok.

Not sure how that happened but hopefully its sorted. Will find out if it works when im back at work on monday.

(excuse my noob dribbling!..)

And MRD XML editor should also highlight this sort of errors in XML.

Have an additional question. I have the XML for the motec M150 and has value at the end. Is it normal to have to figure out the coversion to get the correct value to display?

What do you mean by this?

I guess think I should have asked how to review the can monitor and figure out which the signals and setup the conversions. I have an XML file but the values are off from my laptop that reading them. Not a programmer. Trying to learn on the fly. Appreciate any info.

Did this fix allow you to read the data?

Aren’t the Motec M150 CAN descriptions available publicly?
