Moving RD files to a new device

While I have been following and supporting RD development, I had to put my own project down for close to two years, due to outside factors. I am now re-engaging, and have a new Android device that I cannot get root privileges for. I have the RD data and dash files from my last project, and I want to pick up where I left off. How do I import those into a fresh install of RD on a new device? I used to know this, but it has slipped my mind. I am a MRD subscriber.

As you have MRD sub, I think the easiest way is to use RealDash on Windows computer:

  1. Install RealDash on Windows computer
  2. At some point during the first boot, RealDash is asking for a folder to store all its files.
  3. Copy your settings/dashboard etc files to the location you chose at step 2.
  4. Go to ‘Settings->User’ and synchronize files to MRD.
  5. Open your custom dashboard file into RD. Go to edit mode and select ‘File->Upload to My RealDash’
  6. Do step 5 for all your custom dashboards.

OK, I will give that a shot. Thanks!
