RealDash is capable of controlling external music players and retrieve information about currently playing item. This is done via Android notification system. Because of this, the Notification Access must be allowed for RealDash. This setting is found in various places in Android settings depending on Android version, but typically its in:
In Android Device:
‘Settings->Apps->Special Access->Notification Access’
Spotify requires extra setting:
- Open Spotify and go to the settings
- Enable setting "Device Broadcast Status, Allow other apps on your device to see what you are listening to.
