I’m farely new to using Raspberry Pi 5.
I bought a screen and the Pi from seperate vendors.
I might need to power the screen sepearetly, so I thought I only needed to not install the 3-Pin GPIO cable as seen below:
Am I getting power from the USB A Cable that gives touch connectivity?
Is there a way around this?
Currently I’m running lineage OS and it works and works with RealDash fine. Just curious about this as my only issue is getting power from the vehicle.
That’s why I’ve considered using seperate power for each device.
Edit: Also is the USB A cable the only way to provide touch connectivity from the Pi? I had a cable plugged into the 5v + Touch and had the cable tapped into my radio and Touch wouldn’t work on the screen. and all touch commands went to my radio screen.
