RealDash on SBC like Raspberry Pi (Android / Linux)

Hi folks, So I have a EMU Black and the Can-BT adapter which I connect my phone to and run RealDash on it.

I would like to make it a bit more seamless, but using a 2nd phone is not ideal due to few reasons. (too big, also my last phone’s display cracked when the car was parked outside due to heat)

I want to keep the interior as stock as possible.
Can I run RealDash on some kind of a SBC and connect it to a small display? (2 or 3 inch display which I can place inside the stock instrument cluster and display 4 or 6 values)

I assume this can be done via a SBC like R-Pi with Android but maybe RD has a more optimized Linux distro?

If not, what do you recommend? I also don’t have space for an Android headunit (again to maintain stock interior)

Thank you

Many options, a SBC with Linux, SBC with Android. An Android TV-stick. You just have to experiment which one fits your use-case the best.

Linux builds of RealDash are available for My RealDash users at my.realdash.net Downloads section.

I build on 4"&5" displays fitted to Android 11 boards

I’m interested in what SBC that is.

Which sbc do you mean?
I ordered displays with simple Android Board - they arrive next week and i will see. The boards can be ordered separatly.

Can you share the link?

Sure

This is the supplier…just search for Android boards & ask them which boards they sell
