2.4.9 released 13.3.2025

New:

  • Waveshare USB-CAN-A adapter is now supported.

Fixes:

  • Button Press action now works correctly.
  • Gauges in container now retains aspect.
  • Optimized CPU usage on map gauge.
  • OBD2: Fixed issue on values with custom headers.
  • SocketCAN: writes a FD frame if at least one FD frame has been received.

NOTES

This version has significant CPU usage optimization. While all our tests passed on all platforms, please let us know if you encounter issues with this release. We are ready to make a quick update if necessary.

For previous release (2.4.8) we got total of 2 reports of CAN connections not working correctly. Unfortunately we were unable to find any reason for that. We’d appreciate if you contact us and help with testing if you have CAN connections that stopped working with 2.4.8 update.

Have you seen any issues with the app not opening in full screen? Since the last version it opens in this window and I have to go into the app and tell it to go full screen.

No changes to windowing system that I know of. Is that on Linux?

Why doesn’t the garage xml load the information that was placed in the arduino analog values unit?

Yes linux, I am running on a PI.

Custom inputs are loaded from connection XML and are not contained in Garage Settings.

Is there any path to add a hotkey to reload an XML file without going to the garage and then connecting and selecting the XML? I have started using the online file that can be downloaded from my.realdash.net. Is there a way to do an F4 or something that would download and implement a new copy? When testing the XML files it would make it much faster to do testing.

or an in-app text editor even.

Is the problem solved with usb confirmation when fully turned on? Each time the device is fully loaded, you need to confirm the usb confirmation.
