2.6.6 released 6.5.2026

New:

  • Seeedstudio CAN adapter V8.00 is now supported.
  • Android: Home app version has a app launcher.

Fixes:

  • Gauges reset when data source is changed.
  • Fixed Street info and speed limits not updating.
  • Fixed potential hang at the app exit.
  • Android: Closing a home app is prevented.

Android Home app version has a app launcher. Open the top menu and there is a new button on the left side of the screen.

Android home app version is available for My RealDash subscribers from MRD web page ‘Downloads’ section.

Where is located this option to enable Realdash as an app launcher? How to configure this? Did you a step procedure?

I cannot found this new button on top menu.

I will be glad if you can explain the details for this new feature.

You need to download the special version from MRD for this

Greetings, I am very interested in the new dashboard update, what I want to ask is if I make a purchase on the Play Store and then I uninstall it and then I install the version with the home button, will I still get the full version?

No, the home app version has been completely stripped of Google stuff and requires My RealDash subscription.

I found a way to assign a button to Debug in setting that is very useful. I used a trigger to access it. If there a way we can create a trigger to go to a connection setting? This would help make it faster when I’m developing?

Hello,
Is it possible that since the update (or perhaps even before, since it’s been a while since I last updated…) the calculated variable “Data Update Rate” is no longer being updated and remains at 0 all the time, despite a Bluetooth CAN connection (OBDLink LX)?
Thank you for your help, as this is causing a major issue for me.

I downloaded the Home APK, and when I click on the top, a menu appears on the left. I want to add buttons to the bottom so that pressing those buttons opens the menu. How can I do that?

Was it not supported beforehand..?

I’d been using it for a number of years with good success..
Until the USB adapter broke due to vibration and ripped the solder pads off the PCB..

Edit: True, values per sec calculated input is broken. Will be fixed on next release.

Here’s something else that didn’t happen before, but I’m not sure if it’s related to Realdash.
When my Android tablet is on its mount on the motorcycle, if I cut the power, I can’t turn off the screen. I keep getting “USB connected” and then “USB disconnected” notifications, and when I press the button to put it to sleep, the screen turns back on immediately.
The USB cable is plugged in, and there is an extremely low residual voltage of 0.4 mV.
Since there have been some modifications on the USB side, could this be a result of that?

Its very possible that is enough voltage to keep screen on. Maybe if you install Tasker on the tablet, you can tell it to shut the screen off at certain voltage.. i cant remember if that was an option, but i have my in tablet for my project truck running a task to shut the screen off and back on with loss of 12v and when 12v is sensed

Thanks for the suggestion.
I have Macrodroid installed on my tablet, but whether I turn it off manually or via a scheduled task, the tablet turns back on immediately.
I don’t think it’s because of Realdash…

Next release is in testing currently. What do you mean by “Fixed version”?
