Studying the forum, I noticed that many users install RealDash on android radios.
Each of these radios has analog inputs KEY1 and KEY2.
These inputs are connected to the resistive buttons on the steering wheel. They can be programmed through the app. First, hold down the button and then, depending on the voltage, assign an action.
Is it possible to have RD read the values of these inputs on the device and assign actions?
This is the same as with built in CAN on these devices. The manufacturers do not have any public API to access these and seem not to be eager to share the information.
If I find polling methods for this, can we try to implement it?
It seems that they are universal for all tape recorders.
