Returning to the default Center Display scree

Hi everyone,

I’m creating a custom dashboard for my Chevrolet Prisma 2019 in RealDash.

I replaced the default center menu with a custom image (Prisma logo). When the dashboard starts, I want this logo to be displayed by default.

When I press a physical button (or touch the center area), I want to switch to the normal Center Display menu (Trip, Info, Lap Timer, Map, Music).

My question is:

Is there any Target ID, Trigger, Destination ID, or other method that can switch the Center Display back to its default screen (Mode 0 / Home screen) automatically?

For example:

  • Dashboard starts → show custom Prisma logo.
  • Press button → show Trip/Info/Map menu.
  • After a few seconds (or when another trigger is received) → automatically return to the Prisma logo.

Can this be done using only RealDash (Target IDs, Center Display trigger, Dashboard Editor), or is an external controller such as an ESP32 required?

Any advice or examples would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

In triggers & actions system, there is an action to switch dashboard pages. This action can be triggered with a button, or with ‘Dummy Timer’ as you describe.
