Has anyone successfully launched RD from shell launcher or Task Schedule. I keep getting failures from task schedule, so I’m thinking about switching to Kiosk mode. What I’m trying to do is boot RD before sign in and explorer.exe.
It’s would be great if we could get a RealDash shell replacement. Launchbox/bigbox is a great example.
Thanks

Never tried, but as Windows version of RealDash is dependent on many Windows API:s, that feels like it may never work.
Yeah that’s what I’m finding out. It’s a great running windows app, but is a little restrictive for implementing sine features of windows. Overall I like it, just for a dash it’s a little slow to boot in a realistic environment where I can’t use an actual PC. Great work on this though!
Ps. For slow, it’s about ~16 seconds from power on to booting RealDash on an overclocked n150 chip Gemtek g3 plus.
I kind of take it back that it’s slow. The Haltech IC7 is about 10-12 seconds to boot. What I’m doing now is wiring it to begin boot on unlock. By the time you unlock the doors and sit down it’s already booted.
