I am trying to set some trigger / action with voice output, however, the test function is not outputting anything. Volume is up, is any other setting needed to get audio from RD?
Assuming you are on Android, have you set up the text to speech functionality correctly? Go to Android settings and verify there first.
That was it, had to install Google voice services to get it working. 
Folks my Samsung device hosting RealDash recently auto updated but failed to download any default voices, which left RealDash speechless until I found out the cause. I subsequently changed default text to speech engine to Google instead, now resolved. Just in case this is useful to others.
