The wind speed is not displaying in MPH, I’m not sure what units it’s displaying in.
Currently the wind speed where I’m at is 10 mph but real dash is showing 2.2. Realdash is showing my location correctly. The other weather item’s I’ve checked are correct.
If you’re using Google for example to check windspeed, it’d be different the what RealDash shows as they use a different site to pull weather information btw. Idr what site they use.
I understand there can be a slight variation, but when an 8 foot flag is standing straight out and the wind speed is reported as 4 there’s something not correct.
Does anyone know where weather data is being pulled from?
I don’t believe they posted which weather site they used for their app, I tried looking around.
But I did mess around with the value. I double-checked min, man and number of digits after decimal.
I believe the wind speed is reported in meters per second from playing around with it.
In Look’N Feel → Special → Gauge Math → V*2.237. For me it gives 3.5723 and Google said wind speeds in my area is 4 mph. I assume they round up.
