Wireless Hood and Trunk Sensor Integration for RealDash
This project introduces a custom wireless telemetry solution designed to integrate automotive sensors with the RealDash digital dashboard. Using two magnetic sensors—one dedicated to the hood and another to the trunk—the system eliminates the need for complex physical wiring throughout the vehicle.
When either the hood or the trunk is opened, the magnetic sensors wirelessly transmit the status data. This action instantly triggers the 3D animated model on the digital dashboard, accurately reflecting both components in the open position in real-time.
