looking to integrate my Haltech CAN through the CarPiHat adapter.
most of the CAN adapters seem to be usb rather than through the gpio pins.
any help greatly appreciated.
We use PiCAN3 hat on our DEATHFISH 2 demo car:

Its handy as it can power the RPi from 12v input to the hat.
As for other CAN hats, I believe they all use SocketCAN connection and thus should be compatible with RealDash.

Hey, I really like the idea of switching my dashboard to RealDash.
At the moment I’m using TS Dash for Communication with my Megasquirt 2 ECU. Together with Raspberry Pi 4B 4GB and the CarPiHat. Is it possible to use Can and the power power management with the CarPi Hat and RealDash? Or are there any advantages?
I’m not familiar with that hat, but if it is a SocketCAN device, then RealDash is able to read CAN frames from it.
