Thanks for that, I’ll give all that a go and come back to you, do you know if there is a CAN adapter that will send data over Bluetooth for an Android device to read while not taking the feed from the OBD? Or would it need to be something like this?
In the meantime is it going to be possible to get the oil temp and rear diff temp to work over obd2?

You do not need BTIMU Bluetooth module for CAN connection. Just one of the RealDash compatible CAN adapter.
Possible, yes. You need to make a custom OBD2 connection file. Its probably too complicated for me to do remotely for your vehicle.
Ok great thanks, I was think of going down the route of the SPLeinonen DashBox to output can information over Bluetooth. So I’ll get one of those at some point.
With regards to the OBD2 connection, what do you mean by a custom obd2 connection file? Is that the XML file? I’ve sorted one of those with a bit of your guidance before for the factory ecu of its the same thing? I have got most values working already, it’s just the oil temp and rear diff temperature I cannot get working yet. And I wondered if the debug file I sent might give us some insight into why they are not working?
I just wrote a loooong post about how much I hate the OBD2 connection. Had to delete it, was too honest.
I will try to gather some energy to check it out.

That’s alright, I know it has its flaws and is not idea but I was wondering if I could get it working without spending any more money at the moment and I really appreciate your help if you are able to look at the debug file.
