Multiple App Issues

Yeah idk why. It might be because I’m running lineage OS but idk. It downloaded and installed the APK fine so I doubt it’s my file explorer. But when I tried to upload the updated OBD2 XML it would let me select the file but it never showed in RealDash to select again.

What did you want me to look for on the beta.

Here’s one of the issues. Fuel doesn’t reset to 0 up on disconnecting from OBD2. Nor does it fix itself when connected again. This issue has been persistent for a good while, noticed it while getting gas. If I close and reopen the app it’ll work correctly.

It is Body Electronics: Fuel Level, with OBD2 : Fuel Level Mapped to it.

OBD2: Fuel Level shows I have a full tank.

Something has to be wrong then with Body Electronics: Fuel Level.

Did a quick test and it was working for me, but I will run more comprehensive tests on OBD2 simulator.

You have to disconnect the OBD2 for a while, let’s say a minute.

When it disconnects all values reset except this one. And then when it reconnects it stays the same while the rest show accurately.

I have to exit the app and reopen for it to work correctly again. That or sometimes a good while after it fixes on its own.

Send me your custom OBD2 XML that has fuel level PID.

Not using one and never used a custom one. It’s been persistent as it also happened on my tablet setup before my current one.

Currently my new driver also won’t let me upload XML for OBD2.

Edit: forgot that OBD2 default XML does have the fuel level PID. I will troubleshoot this.

From now on, open new discussion for each issue. The topic of “Multiple App Issues” makes a bad search term
