Hi Jani,
When Boost (Bar/Psi) is selecting “Calculated Values” → “Boost (Bar/Psi)”, which/where is the data coming from and in what units does it expect it?
Is it applying a conversion to the ECU input MAP?
Rod.

Its is expecting the boost in Bar. Although, the Boost input is a ‘Calculated’ value from manifold absolute pressure, so if you send MAP in (kPa), Boost will show automatically.
thanks. will try converting the units within .xml and see what happens.
so far we have all the test data working which was sent in the same units as expected by realdash.
If you send both, Boost and MAP from ECU you will experience ‘value fighting’ as Boost is also calculated internally by RealDash. I recommend that you send only the MAP as its also used on many other calculations.
yes I sent MAP in mbar, so now we will try kPa by v/10, but still send it as MAP only so real dash calculates boost.
excellent, that’s a big help!
Rod and i just tester the latentst draft of the xml file he send me.
Works like a charm.
Looks good! Happy to hear that you got this working
Please share the xml
the xml is not complete, only these few values you can see on the video are described in the xml.
rod wil make an how to to set up the xml, and i wil make an howto what hardware and settings you should/can use.
i have orderd an wifi and bluetooth transmitter to se if i can get that working and witch is fastest.
yep, will get onto it next week.
do you need an OTG adapter for connection from can analyzer to andriod tablet?
Yes you do.
I’m looking to use an Android headunit for Realdash, already have USB Can Analyser and OTG cable, so hoping I’m good to go once you guys share the wealth.
How did you tap into the can stream from Syvecs?
Hi mat,
What ecu and can analyser do you have?
Hi.
I have S6GP and the following USB-Can device.
Rgds
check this thread matt, if you have questions ask me or rod.
Thanks, will have a look
