BUG ?
Thanks for the update.
I have applied the update to my Android head unit.
I am now getting disconnects/re-connects from the BT OBD, every few minutes.
I get a message ā€œConnecting obdlink LXā€¦ā€ , then ā€œChecking PID supportā€ then normal, then it keeps cycling like this. Values go to zero before it reconnects.

I have unpaired the OBDlinkLX and re-paired it to the Android, and also redone the BT profile in RD, and tested monitor, good. This did not fix the problem. Please advise.

It could be that you have not noticed the connection timeouts before as gauges did not react to connection timeout before.

Send a debug log for analysis:

How to send a debug log - General / Frequently Asked Questions - RealDash Forum

DEBUG log was sent just now. Send an email to where ? Whatā€™s needed in the email ?

Thank you for your help. Sent you an email with link to pre-release version to test on.

Thank you, will install and report back.

Hello,
Thank you for sending. So far it is working well. I will continue to monitor and report back.

I have had the same problem. Should I share the debug log for analysis.
Thanks in advance.

If anything just capture a debug log send it through the app to them. Then come here and mention the time and date you sent it so they know which to look at.

To make brightness control more universal on Linux, can RD be updated to use the brightness control as I stated here?

I removed some messages that did not have any constructive content/feedback, just frustration and negativity.

Comments that just badmouth RealDash without any proposed solutions will be immediately removed in the future. I do not mind negative feedback, but that should include some sort of proposal of how to improve. I see here my personal deficiency; I react badly to negativity. I understand that being mad about RealDash not working as you expect is an indication that you care, but the fact is, you will get much better results for your requests with some positive attitude.

If you have an issue with RealDash, please make new discussion about the issue. Describe the issue as detailed as possible and we will definitely take a look at it and attempt to fix.

Really Realdash now that Iā€™m getting to know the software better, Iā€™m new to this software but I saw that it has very positive potential, but one of the improvements that could be made immediately would be when editing a panel that position and size bar X, Y, W, H that is on top of the other parts that will be edited, there is no place to put this bar, it helps there and even gets in the way a lot, but it is still an excellent software.

While editing, select a gauge and then from context menu ā€˜Size and Position->Hide Editbarā€™, or just press CTRL+E to toggle edit bar.

Also there is quite handy shortcut key CTRL+W that hide/show all menus while editing.
