Reconnect Bluetooth connection

Good morning,

I can perfectly configure the connection to a Bluetooth device, and it reads the data perfectly, but when I turn off the ignition and turn it back on, it doesn’t connect automatically.

If I close the app and turn it back on, it connects fine.

Is there any way to make it connect automatically?

Some has experienced similar issue. I’m assuming you are using an Android head unit that goes to sleep mode when you turn off the ignition.

This works perfectly fine on our Joying and Ainavi devices that we have. Also, we have found no issues with any of our phone and tablet test devices. Unless I can reproduce the issue, there is nothing I can do about it.

I can try to take a look if you send a debug log if this happening:

So I think a good solution would be to use a Wi-Fi adapter.

I imagine the Wi-Fi would reconnect better.

I don’t think there will be any difference. Plus WiFi has its own issues, like blocking the mobile data on Android.

Could you help by sending a debug log of this issue.

With Wifi it always reconnects, but it takes a long time to reconnect.
