I can perfectly configure the connection to a Bluetooth device, and it reads the data perfectly, but when I turn off the ignition and turn it back on, it doesn’t connect automatically.
If I close the app and turn it back on, it connects fine.
Is there any way to make it connect automatically?
Some has experienced similar issue. I’m assuming you are using an Android head unit that goes to sleep mode when you turn off the ignition.
This works perfectly fine on our Joying and Ainavi devices that we have. Also, we have found no issues with any of our phone and tablet test devices. Unless I can reproduce the issue, there is nothing I can do about it.
I can try to take a look if you send a debug log if this happening:
I had the same issue and I think I found a solution. in Settings > Application > 2nd page, enable “Reboot at screen on event” and realdash will reboot every time the android headunit wakes up from standby. I’m only 80% sure this is the correct option to enable since I enabled/disabled 3 4 settings in the first 2 pages at once and it worked but I can at least confirm realdash will connect to my bluetooth obd2 adapter every time since.
It is not “Allow Realdash to enable disable bluetooth” which was the first one I tried.
